Ron Price reaches his audiences with interactive and motivational programs that inspire meaningful change. He speaks to organizations around the world on such topics as leadership, strategic planning, business innovation, organizational growth, talent management and developing unrealized potential.
With his unique blend of creative thinking, limitless energy, and business expertise, Ron gives participants practical tools to enhance learning and seize opportunities-ideas they can implement right away to achieve results.
Ron's speaking career actually began while he studied theatre at Michigan State University and later worked in a theatre group -Suitcase Theatre- that toured the U.S. and Europe. Suitcase Theatre, a multi-cultural, secular theatre company, was inspired by and used several of the works of Langston Hughes. Suitcase Theatre's founder Powell Lindsay, a Broadway actor and friend of Langston Hughes, mentored Price and gave him the opportunity to develop his skills as a director.
In 1971, Price helped develop a street ministry in Michigan that reached out with food and counseling to street kids, drug addicts and prostitutes. When the ministry was shut down by urban renewal, Price went to work in his father's tire business. Eventually, Price became part owner of his father's business and developed a positive corporate culture and community among the employees of the growing company.
Before founding Price Associates, Ron joined the AIM Companies and became president of the company, directing the strategic planning, marketing, compensation and incentive planning, field training and operations. During Ron's 11 years at AIM, he built and supported a staff and sales force that tripled the size of the company and expanded into 8 new countries. Ron is also the author of "Finding Hidden Treasures," a series of
essays with action steps to aid readers in mining their own inner
talents.
A member of the National Speakers Association, Ron has traveled more than one million miles, giving more than 1,000 speeches in 12 countries. Ron's presentations are focused and designed to help enhance individual and organizational effectiveness, profitability and growth.
Workshops & Keynotes
- Designing and Managing Change in Large Organizations - This presentation has been created to share a new technology for an organizational mapping system that illuminates the informal org chart; the shadow organization that either unleashes or obstructs the goal of a company. This technology reveals the misalignment between individual values, organizational culture, and environmental pressures. Part new technology, part new thinking, this system helps leaders discover the latent power for transformation that exists inside their organization - and helps change the way formal leaders understand the role of informal leaders in shaping the culture and effectiveness of the company. This system has been used to transform a number of multi-national organizations overseas including TNT, Kraft, Alcate, Lucent, and more. Price Associates founder/President Ron Price says: "This is the most profound advancement in organizational effectiveness that I have seen in 35 years and we are honored to play a role in launching this new technology for expansion into the U.S."
